Read Miss

• Cache controller broadcast a Read-Blk command on the bus

  • If shared copy , result will be shared too
  • If dirty copy, updates main memory too
  • If valid copy, supplies necessary copy and all copies become shared
  • If there is no cache copy, memory sends block and becomes valid-exclusive
