There is a distinction between science and its applications but this does not mean, technology is applied science.
Technique can be discovered by trial, error learning even accidents. And sometimes it takes a long time to understand why and how it works.
Technique can be learned by someone skilled in the art. And transfer of technique is very easy with a considerable cost.
Which disciplines is really sciences? And which are not?
In this paper, many modern science disciplines like computer sciences, pathology, metallurgy and all kinds of engineering are declared as the disciplines that does not fit the classical science mold (kalip).
They are the disciplines trying to understand a technology, and often they reach down to pure science (like fundamental physics, chemistry and biology) MATH???
